Unique About SNRC |
| |
The language course for software professionals will have distinct software “accent”, by virtue of our immense experience in software development. This will help the software engineer gain a very crisp orientation to the language in the context of a software environment. |
Crucial technical aspects & hints pertaining to developing & deploying double byte applications will be touched upon. This could include hands-on experience. We teach Japanese by comparing the native language of students for e.g. with Hindi to help students easily assimilate the similarity. It is our experience that such measures help significantly in the learning process. |
Students have the opportunity to be enrolled as trainees in our translation division after they clear level 2. Classes will be conducted in the evenings so those working professionals find it convenient. Appropriate assistance placement to Japan could be provided to suitable candidates. |
Other activities to create abiding interest in Japan and Japanese culture are part of the objective of the centre. This gives a better cultural orientation than simply training on language. |

Several developed and developing countries are making endeavors to teach Japanese by providing scholarships and exchange students program as Japanese is a language still very few have mastered in the world and the potential for Japanese language skills is multi-fold: Japanese language teaching, translation and interpretation. Like French and German, Japanese is likely to become a school-taught language in the very near future as Japanese language skilled personnel will be in great demand in the future as more and more companies come to India to set up shop and trade between India and Japan go up.
In the USA, Japanese language is taught as a middle and high school subject so the students can continue to study the language at the university level also. More than 30 universities and colleges teach Japanese in the US. In India Japanese language teaching is still at a nascent stage where institutes such as ours will contribute to the future business, cultural and trade relations between Japan and India.
Japanese Language learning is a key to study works or does business with Japan. One of the largest groups of software engineers is from India. Japanese language’s structure is very much the same as Indian languages that explains the fact that Indians can learn Japanese language much faster than so many other nationalities. It is estimated that Japanese software requirement is still large and software engineers knowing Japanese language have an edge over those who do not, in dealing with software in Japanese both in Japan as well as working from India. |
